| in Scheffau am Wilden Kaiser/Tirol mit Weltrekordversuch Pfingsten 2014 – 8. bis 9. Juni 2014 Freunde der "Steirischen" sollten sich das Pfingstwochenende 2014 rot im Kalener anstreichen. Das dritte Tiroler Knöpferl-Harmonika-Treffen geht in Scheffau und auf der Walleralm über die Bühne - und wer will, kann sogar aktiv mithelfen einen Weltrekord aufzustellen! HARMONIKA-TREFFEN IN SCHEFFAU/ORTSZENTRUM Erster Höhepunkt ist am 8. Juni das "Fest der Harmonika", für das der Knöpferl Musikverlag als Veranstalter sogar einen Weltrekordversuch plant. Wir wollen das größte Harmonika-Orchester der Welt auf die Beine stellen. Wir laden jetzt schon alle Freunde der Steirischen ein, uns bei diesem Vorhaben zu unterstützen. Ist die Harmonika-Big Band formiert, spielen alle zusammen das Stück "Die Sterne am Himmel"(Ideal wäre GCFB-Stimmung, Leihinstrument möglich). Und zwar gemeinsam mit dem Komponisten, denn Luis Plattner sorgt mit seinem "Tiroler Echo" an diesem Abend für Stimmung. Mit dabei auch die aus dem Musikantenstadl bekannte Familienmusig Herzog und natürlich das "Knöpferl Ensemble" mit den beiden Autoren Peter Thurner und Josef Rupprechter. Für die Verpflegung der Besucher sorgen die Scheffau Vereine, unterstützt wir die Veranstaltung auch vom TVB Wilder Kaiser-Scheffau und vom Kulturausschuss der Gemeinde. Beginn 18 Uhr 30 HARMONIKA-TREFFEN AUF DER WALLERALM Am Pfingsmontag lädt der TVB Scheffau zu einer geführten Wanderung auf die Walleralm, wo das große Harmonika-Treffen in Szene geht. Ab 11 Uhr gibt es ein lockeres Programm mit verschiedenen Gruppen, dem "Knöpferl Ensemble" und einen Auftritt der "Oimdudler". | Drei Monate vor der Aufzeichnung seiner eigenen Samstagabend-Fernsehshow hat der österreichische Volksmusiker Andreas Gabalier am Freitag seine ersten Gäste vorgestellt. Demnach begrüßt er die Scorpions, Status Quo, The BossHoss, The Baseballs und Rea Garvey in der rund zweistündigen Sendung, die im September auf ORF2 ausgestrahlt wird. "Es ist eine große Ehre, mit Idolen zusammenzutreffen, die mich in der Jugend geprägt haben. Es sind Größen aus der Schallplattensammlung meines Vaters dabei", sagte der 29-jährige Musiker bei der Vorstellung der Show am Freitag in Füssen im Allgäu. Dort soll die Eurovisionssendung vom ORF, dem Bayerischen Rundfunk/Das Erste und dem Schweizer SRF am 30. August aufgezeichnet werden. |

| Homenaje a don Jacob Luque García – Primer importador en Valledupar de acordeones Hohner para sus almacenes La Paciencia y La Nueva Paciencia VALLEDUPAR – 4 al 7 de Junio 2014 La Fundación REYES Y JUGLARES VALLENATOS convoca a los grupos o olistas folclóricos, populares, clásicos o de academia, de música, danza y / o teatro, cuyo epertorio tenga el acordeón como instrumento de ejecución central, al V ENCUENTRO MUNDIAL DE MÚSICAS DE ACORDEÓN. Podrán participar, por cuenta propia, los artistas plásticos y los artesanos cuyo trabajo tenga al acordeón como elemento esencial de su inspiración, labor u obra. Lugar y fecha de realización: la ciudad de Valledupar, capital del departamento del Cesar (Colombia), del 4 al 7 de Junio 2014. Los artistas cuya solicitud de admisión le sea aceptada deberán trasladarse hasta la ciudad de Valledupar (Colombia) por sus propios riesgos y medios. Su alojamiento, alimentación y raslados locales programados por el evento durante su permanencia en la ciudad de Valledupar estarán a cargo de la Fundación REYES Y JUGLARES VALLENATOS. En cuanto a los artistas plásticos y los artesanos, estos deberán sufragar los gastos de su presencia en el evento. Las salas de exposición estarán a su disposición gratuitamente y las muestras se ofrecerán de manera colectiva.  Die Amadeus Austrian Music Awards 2014 ging auch diesmal wieder an Andreas Gabalier und wurde am 6. Mai 2014 im Wiener Volkstheater verliehen.Preise werden nur in rein österreichischen Kategorien vergeben Die österreichische U-Musiklandschaft wird in acht Genres aufgeteilt. Für jedes Genre gibt es eine fachkompetente Jury. Die Genre-Jurymitglieder nominieren Album, Song und Künstler mittels passwortgeschütztem Online-Nominierungssystem. Die fünf meistgenannten Alben bzw. Songs über alle Genres hinweg sind die fünf Nominierten für Song des Jahres und Album des Jahres. Die zwei Bestseller sind in der jeweiligen Genre-Kategorie fix nominiert. Die Auswertung erfolgt durch media control austria. Die restlichen drei Nominierten pro Genre ergeben sich aus den von den Genre-Jurymitgliedern meistgenannten Künstlern. Das Publikum wählt aus den Nominierten mittels Online-Voting die Sieger in den einzelnen Kategorien. This year has been added a new weekend (June 20-22, 2014) that adds an accordion track (replacing, for this weekend only, the banjo and cello classes) to the usual outstanding collection of fiddle, guitar, piano, mandolin, bass, flute and pennywhistle, and ukulele classes. We have assembled some of the top accordion players and teachers to provide instruction, at all levels, in many styles including Quebecois, Irish, Cajun, and New England. Button, piano, diatonic, chromatic, Anglo, English, red, green, black with a chrome grill, even yellow, all accordions and concertinas are welcome here! AN ACCORDION PLAYER? So.. Les propos d'un des stagiaires décrivent bien le démarche pédagogique : "Accueil de niveaux très divers en diato et en chroma, dans une ambiance conviviale n'excluant pas le sérieux du travail, dans un suivi collectif et individualisé, pour guider les stagiaires vers une meilleure précision du jeu."   Diatonisches Akkordeon für Anfänger/innen mit VorkenntnissenLeitung: Oliver Stoffregen Gemeinsam bauen wir unsere spielerischen Fähigkeiten aus. Neben der Festigung der Grundlagen werden Techniken zur Bearbeitung einfachster Stücke vermittelt: Melodieverzierungen, Balgarbeit und Begleitmöglichkeiten mit den Bässen. Die Stücke werden in Noten und Tabulatur ausgeteilt, es wird jedoch auch das im Folkbereich traditionelle Erlernen der Melodie nach Gehör geübt. Voraussetzungen: Grundfertigkeiten auf dem diatonischen Akkordeon. Diatonisches Akkordeon für Fortgeschrittene Leitung: Jan Budweis Einfache Tanzmelodien sind oft kurz und leben durch ständige Wiederholungen. Um sie beim Aufspielen zum Tanz abwechslungsreich und spannend zu gestalten, gibt es viele Möglichkeiten, die wir erlernen wollen: z.B. rhythmische Gestaltungsvarianten der rechten und linken Hand, das Akkordspiel auf der Diskantseite und Phrasierungs- und Verzierungstechniken. Ein weiterer Schwerpunkt ist das Erarbeiten von Variationen bis hin zu kleinen Improvisationen. While growing up, the Louisiana native played drums in bands led by his father and brother, and he taught himself to play the accordion. Over the years, Broussard has become a skillful player of many types of accordions, including triple-row and single-row diatonic button models. He also performs on guitar, fiddle, bass and percussion instruments in his band. Jeffery Broussard & the Creole Cowboys, will visit the UW Memorial Union Terrace on Saturday, May 24. |

 The Guardia Nueva Tango Orchestra, from Ostrobothnia, Finland, perform in concert on Friday 6th June at the Chamber Music Hall, Berlin Philharmonic, for one concert only in Germany.The highly accomplished Guardia Nueva Tango Orchestra, Director Raimo Vertainen (picture left) has a repertoire that includes Astor Piazzolla, Richard Galliano, Gotan Project, and Finnish Tangos all specifically arranged for this orchestra. The Tango Gala will be the first Finnish tango event ever performed at the Berlin Philharmonic. The Guardia Nueva orchestra will be playing in their unique way, complementing the habanera rhythm with soft accordion sounds and tempting Scandinavian vocalists. The performance will showcase the strong Finnish tango tradition, developed during more than 80 years. At times, half of the entries in the popular music charts in Finland have been occupied by tangos. The traditional themes of love and sorrow are complemented with the unique Scandinavian nature and landscape. Finland also hosts the world's oldest tango festival, held annually to find the country's best tango singers, composers, and dancers. Guardia Nueva is a success story from Ostrobothnia, a place known for brave emigrants traveling overseas. Its virtuosic interpretations of tango have entertained audiences as far away as Argentina and Turkey. Guardia Nueva has refined the Finnish national tango pearls into international magnificence by playing their own arrangements. | Colores de Tango "Colores de Tango" è un progetto che vuole interpretare la musica per tango secondo la prospettiva dell’incontro a due, che è il punto di partenza irrinunciabile della danza in milonga, per cui il progetto originariamente nasce. E qui la sintesi è tra due strumenti apparentemente molto lontani: il violoncello, voce classica e per certi versi ieraticamente nobile, e la fisarmonica diatonica, uno strumento popolare d’elezione, indissolubilmente legato alla danza.
