Dear folks - I have an old one-row box, tuned in D, possibly made by a German company named SCHULZ & GUNDLACH, from Berlin. That's the logo on the instrument, though it may be the logo of a retailer rather than the maker. The accordion is in very good shape, and may actually be as old as a hundred years! I bought it in a shop in Devon, England three years ago, and had it carefully restored by a great repairman from Odal, Norway; Willy Rustad. If anybody knows anything about this type of instrument, I would be very happy to be updated. Mr Rustad thought it might be as old as from the 1890s, but we don't know. The serial number is 733. The box has brass reeds, and a bright lovely tone. It has four bass buttons. It is made from a red type of wood, and very well crafted. Tor E Bekken Email: drbekken@myspace.com
