 Viele Steirische Harmonikaspieler aus Italien,Südtirol und Slowenien musizierten in Portoroz (rechts die Sieger der einzelnen Kategorien mit der Jury) Auch wenn nicht alle Teilnehmer beim 1. Harmonika Grand Prix vor Lampenfieber gefeit waren, boten sie den Zuhörern einen niveauvollen und spannenden musikalischen Wettbewerb. Unter dem Juryvorsitz von HVÖ- Fachvorstand Gottfried Hubmann, Joze Burnik, Denis Novato, Darko Bradassi und Stane Knific traten am 4.2.2012 viele junge Harmonikaspieler zwischen 8 und 19 Jahren aus Südtirol, Slowenien und Italien in drei Kategorien zu einem friedlichen Wettstreit gegeneinander an. Die vielen Zuschauer im Saal machten sich durch Zwischenapplaus immer wieder bemerkbar. Dass jeder gerne gewinnen möchte ist klar, aber bei diesem Wettbe-werb hatte man das Gefühl, dass wirklich die besten SpielerInnen nach Portoroz gekommen sind, um am Bewerb teilzunehmen. Der Harmonika Grand Prix soll ein jährlicher Treffpunkt für VolksmusikantInnen aus dem gesamten Alpenraum werden und repräsentiert nicht nur das musikalische Kulturgut, sondern ist darüber hinaus auch ein Spiegelbild der vielfältigen Trachten aus den einzelnen Ländern. Einen Tag lang war das Hotel Portoroz ein einziges klingendes Haus. Es gab keine Popstars, die ein sattes Salär für ihre überlauten Darbietungen kassierten, sondern junge Menschen, die aus Freude an der Volksmusik auftraten. Und das nicht nur in den Sälen, wo der Wettbewerb stattfand, sondern im ganzen Haus. Das Niveau der Meisterschaft wurde als sehr hoch eingeschätzt. Neben der Technik und Melodieführung der rechten Hand wurde u. a. auch Ersteindruck, Schwierigkeitsgrad, Artikulation, Tempowahl, Balgtechnik, Rhythmus, Dynamik und die Anzahl der unterlaufenen Fehler gewertet. Hier kann man dem Veranstalter Denis Novato und den Sponsoren nur die allergrößte Hochachtung zollen, die dies möglich machten. Sie wurden dafür reichlich mit wunderbarer Harmonikamusik belohnt. Dieser erstmals durchgeführte Wettbewerb war einer jener, die durch ihre Seriosität auffallen und sich von anderen Wald- und Wiesenwettbewerben angenehm abgrenzen, wo sich dann einer von zwei Kandidaten (!) mit einem „großen“ Titel schmücken darf. Daher wird der Slowenien-Grand Prix auch seinen Weg machen und bald einen Fixplatz im Veranstaltungskalender einnehmen. Das stellt ihn durchaus in die Nähe des jedes zweite Jahr durchgeführten Internationalen Wettbewerbes des HVÖ (Harmonika-WM), der zu den international und von der Confédération Internationale des Accordéonistes (C.I.A.) anerkannten Konkurrenzen gehört. Diesmal wurden Christa Eisentopf und Andreas Tatzl auf Grund ihrer großartigen musikalischen Leistungen auf der Steirischen Harmonika Gratulation und Anerkennung ausgesprochen. Beide sind Pernegger und Schüler von Gottfried Hubmann, BA (Lehrer an der Musikschule Mautern). Andreas belegte in der Weltmeisterklasse den 3. Platz und Christa in der Seniorenklasse den 3. | Situé dans le Manoir Couillard-Dupuis, le Musée de l'accordéon est né de la volonté de partager et de faire connaître au grand public cet instrument aux mille facettes. Reconnu comme institution muséale en 2001, son existence qui remonte à 1992 est étroitement liée aux thématiques développées au cours des diverses éditions du festival. Il est également membre du Regroupement des institutions muséales de la Chaudière-Appalaches depuis plusieurs années. Depuis sa création, le Musée de l'accordéon s'inscrit dans le circuit culturel de la région. Ses collections de photographies et d'instruments mettent en relief l'histoire de l'accordéon, la versatilité de ses formes et retracent les liens avec la tradition populaire de Montmagny. The collection is enriched by the presence of ten temporary exhibits and eight permanent exhibits, all of which are available for public viewing.  16-18 Marzo 2012Francisco el Hombre is a legendary figure, said to have originated the musical genre of Vallenato in Colombia. His story is very unclear and has been told by word of mouth from generation to generation. [edit] The Story His full name is Francisco Antonio Moscote. Francisco El Hombre is rumored to have gone around town to town in Colombia spreading news through the art of song. Not only did he sing the news, but he did it to the rhythm of an accordion that he always played whilst singing. This is how the genre of Vallenato in Colombia came to be. The exact era of his appearances is not known but it is rumored to have started around the late 1870s and early 1880s. Another Myth There is also a myth in Colombia where he was involved in a musical contest with Satan "El Diablo" and beat him with the rhythm of accordion and his voice. This is how he received the nickname "El Hombre" (The Man), which is how most Colombians know him - Francisco El Hombre.  "The Big Squeeze" is Texas Folklife's sixth annual statewide contest for young accordion players. The contestants, ages 21 and under, receive prizes as well as performance opportunities, mentoring and special recognition through their participation in the contest. Businesses including Hohner Accordions, Embassy Suites-Downtown Austin and the historic SugarHill Recording Studios donate grand prizes, hotel rooms for touring and mentoring. Texas Folklife conducts live auditions, master classes and mini-performances around the state as part of this program. Texas Folk Masters Texas Folklife showcases Texas' legendary songwriters and performers. Il corso si rivolge a musicisti di fisarmonica diatonica di livello base o avanzato Il corso si articolerà in lezioni individuali, una teorica e una di gruppo (musica d’isieme). E' necessario concordare il programma preventivamente: esso può essere sia teorico che pratico. In lingua italiana e inglese L master classes è rivolta a tutti coloro che suonano l'organetto ( 2, 4, 8, 12 e 18 bassi) che vogliono migliorare l'aspetto tecnico e interpretativo e ampliare il loro repertorio. Possono accedere anche coloro che non leggono la musica e che non hanno una preparazione particolare sullo strumento. L'argomento principale dello stage sarà la Musica (ETNICA E POPOLARE) Lo stage sarà suddiviso in due parti: teorica e pratica. • Nella prima parte si affronteranno i seguenti argomenti: costruzione degli accordi, delle scale, funzioni armoniche, trasporto melodico, analisi dei ritmi più utilizzati, analisi della partitura, cenni sull'improvvisazione. • La seconda parte sarà dedicata quasi esclusivamente allo strumento: utilizzo del mantice (dinamiche, effetti, etc.), armonizzazione dei bassi, gli accordi possibili con la mano destra (a seconda dello strumento utilizzato), lo studio delle articolazioni, effettistica dello strumento, come migliorare la propria tecnica in breve tempo, perfezionamento dei brani già assimilati, ( lo studio fraseologico, espressivo e stilistico, utilizzo dei bassi, accenti, l'utilizzo del mantice, introduzione di figurazioni ritmiche e pattern melodici, improvvisazione). Attraverso le radici della musica popolare e le sonorità dell'organetto, esploreremo insieme un universo musicale raffinato, con un approccio moderno, mantenendo vive le caratteristiche del nostro strumento. E' possibile partecipare allo stage sia da uditori che da effettivi. Pugliese, Cabral, Canaro, sono alcuni tra i compositori di riferimento di questo affascinante genere musicale. Scopriremo insieme un repertorio insospettabile e un nuovo modo di suonare. | Si è svolta il 18 e 19 febbraio 2012 presso il Centro studi musicali Nuove Armonie di Paola (CS), un importante avvenimento didattico che ha visto una grande partecipazione in termini di utenza e crescita artistica dei diversi studenti che hanno partecipato alla master classes di fisarmonica Moderna tenuta da Antonio Spaccarotella. Durante le diverse lezioni si sono trattate importanti tematiche come : studio del tocco, preparazione alle competizioni internazionali, studi mnemonici, propensione e personalizzazione di un programma. Entusiasti tutti gli studenti di ogni fascia d’età che hanno partecipato alla master. Durante la Masterclass di Antonio Spaccarotella, si sono create diverse aree di lavoro sia collettive che individuali. Il Centro Studi Musicali (Nuove Armonie), attualmente è uno dei più rinomati e moderni poli didattici dove si svolgono attività legate alla fisarmonica del sud Italia, i numerosi iscritti che giornalmente frequentano i corsi, usufruiscono di una moltitudine di servizi, dai più piccoli con la prima classe di propedeutica di fisarmonica diatonica, classe di fisarmonica digitale Roland V-Accordion, nonché le varie sfaccettature stilistiche, con lezioni di fisarmonica Classica, Moderna, Jazz.  30. März bis 1. April 2012Werkstätten Konzertina-SpielerInnen und Folk-Freunde mit anderen akkusatischen Instrumenten treffen sich zu gemeinsamen Musizieren Seit 2001 finden zweimal jährlich die Süddeutschen Konzertinatreffen statt. Zunächst traf sich der Freundeskreis an wechselnden Orten, seit 2003 ist die BN-Ökostation in Wartaweil/Ammersee das Quartier der Wahl. Eine frisch renovierte alte Villa mit großem Park, herrliche Landschaft und wichtig: Keine Nachbarn, die man stören könnte... Da ein beträchtlicher Teil der Teilnehmer aus dem nördlichen Süddeutschland kam, wurde das Herbsttreffen ab 2010 auf die Tannenburg bei Schwäbisch Hall verlegt. Mit ca. 15 TeilnehmerInnen hat das Konzertinatreffen eine recht überschaubare Größe und das soll auch so sein. Der Schwerpunkt liegt auf dem gemeinsamen Musizieren (z.B. die Stücke auf der Melodienseite). Allerdings hat sich das Treffen auch zu einer Anlaufstelle für Anfänger entwickelt, so dass wir bei Bedarf für Deutsche Konzertina und Anglo Anfängerkurse anbieten. Interessenten, die noch nicht wissen, welche Konzertina sie kaufen sollen, bilden die dritte Besuchergruppe. Hier können sie die verschiedenen Typen sehen, hören, antesten und sich beraten lassen. Deutsche Konzertina, Anglos, Englische und Duet sind hier die gängigen Instrumente, aber auch Chemnitzer und Carlsfelder sind regelmäßig vertreten. Einige Teilnehmer haben auch andere Instrumente dabei, was das Musizieren bereichert. Mit einem jazzigen Approach nähert sich das Quartett den Kompositionen des unsterblichen Tango-Großmeisters, ausgewählten Stücken der Tango-Literatur und eigenem Material, in dem sich die exzellenten Musiker viel Raum für Improvisationen geben. Mit ihrem aktuellen Album "D´impulso", im Mai 2011 veröffentlicht, kehrt das international gefragte Nuevo Tango Ensamble nun nach Wien und ins Porgy & Bess zurück. The Nuevo Tango Ensamble was found in 1999 by Pasquale Stafano and Gianni Iorio in order to celebrate Astor Piazzolla`s music, but also to rearrange it. In seine Musik mit seinem Hauptinstument, dem Bandoneon, fließen seine große Lust an der Improvisation ebenso ein, wie seine zahlreichen Einflüsse, die ein großes Spektrum von klassischer bis zeitgenössischer Musik, von Jazz bis Tango, von traditioneller Folklore bis zu Weltmusik abdecken. Seine kreativen Ausflüge in Film-, Tanz- und Theatermusik machen Di Bonaventura mit zahlreichen Ver-öffentlichungen (unter anderem für ECM) zu einem der profiliertesten italienischen Akkordeonisten. Seither hat die fünfköpfige Formation drei Alben veröffentlicht, wobei sie für "Baila Queridá" 2008 den Preis der Deutschen Schallplattenkritik zugesprochen bekamen. Ihr musikalischer Ansatz kombiniert klassischen Tango mit jazziger Improvisation und zeitgenössischer elektronischer Musik, dazu singen sie Texte, die in der Umgangssprache des heutigen Buenos Aires geschrieben sind, sich voller Melancholie in die Liebe und das Leben stürzen, aber auch von einer subtilen Ironie sind. Eine durch und durch zeitgemäße urbane Musik, die dennoch immer wieder erstaunlich nahe an den komplexen und tiefgründigen Ursprüngen des Tango rührt. Aktuell arbeiten Tango Crash an ihrem neuen Album, das sie wahrscheinlich und hoffentlich beim Akkordeonfestival vorstellen werden, ihre Konzerte begeisterten schon bei zahlreichen europäischen Jazz- und Worldmusic-Festivals. Since 2003 Tango Crash combines classical tango with a jazz fuelled improvisational approach as well as with modern electronic sounds. They released three acclaimed albums and are currently working on their fourth. Their lyrics reflect today´s Buenos Aires and are rich with tango´s inherent melancholy, yet a subtle irony shines through when they sing of life and love. Das Akkordeon lernte sie von ihrem Ehemann Morris., der ebenfalls in einer Zydceo-Band spielt. Bei einem Konzert von BooZoo Chavis verfiel sie dieser Musik und begann selbst zahlreiche Gigs im Louisiana-Texas-Zydeco-Circuit zu spielen. Dabei machte sie sich mit ihrer einnehmenden Bühnenpräsenz und großen Musikalität einen so guten Namen, dass sie bald in den ganzen USA auftreten konnte. Wenn es zutrifft, dass "Zydeco Blues mit einem Akzent ist", dann ist Rosie Ledet eine jener Künstlerinnen, die das mit ihrer Musik voll und ganz repräsentiert. Ihr Repertoire beschränkt sich nicht auf traditionelles Cajun-Material, sie schreibt auch sehr erfolgreich eigene Songs in kreolischem Französisch. Eine definitive Anwärterin auf den Titel "First Lady of Zydeco"! "If the Allman Brothers went Zydeco they would probably sound like Rosie Ledet." (New York Times) Rosie Ledet: "I attended my first Zydeco dance at Richard´s Club in Lawtell, Louisiana – I didn´t think I would like Zydeco music, but when I heard BooZoo Chavis play, I was hooked! That night I fell in love with Zydeco music." She has been performing steadily throughout the Louisiana-Texas Zydeco circuit, as well as playing from coast to coast. Rosie plays more of the traditional style Cajun and Zydeco music and composes her own songs. Rosie adds a touch of blues and Creole French to her songs. Her warm stage presence combined with the infectious Zydeco beat, makes her irresistible to the audience.
