| Der Alpen Grand Prix ist ein Musikwettbewerb der „Schlager“ und „Volksmusik“ der seit 1993 jährlich in Südtirol stattfindet. Bis 1996 nahmen ausschließlich nur Interpreten aus Südtirol teil. Seit 1997 ist der Alpen Grand Prix International und Teilnehmer aus Deutschland, Österreich, Schweiz, Italien, Slowenien, Kroatien, Frankreich, Niederlande, Polen, Ungarn und USA haben daran bereits teilgenommen. Die Gesangssprache ist Deutsch. Der Alpen Grand Prix ein Internationaler Musikwettbewerb für Interpreten, Komponisten, Texter, Produzenten und Verlage. In den letzten Jahren gab es beim Alpen Grand Prix getrennte Wertungen für die Bereiche Schlager und Volksmusik. Der Alpen Grand Prix zählt zu einem der bedeutendsten Musikwettbewerb in der Sparte Schlager und Volksmusik. Dass dieser Internationale Musikwettbewerb an Beliebtheit und Wichtigkeit immer mehr zunimmt, bestätigen die vielen Bewerbungen von bekannten Komponisten, Textern und Produzenten.   Samstag 15.03.14 in Bayreuth, Oberfranken Konzertina – spielen und lernen. Frühjahrskurs in Bayreuth Büro der Beratungsstelle für Volksmusik in Franken Leitung: Theo Knopf Mitveranstalter: Bezirk Oberfranken Eingeladen sind alle, die das Spiel auf der Konzertina erlernen oder weiter vertiefen möchten. Theo Knopf, ein erfahrener Konzertinamusikant und Kenner dieses Instruments, betreut jeden Teilnehmer individuell. Leihinstrumente können zur Verfügung gestellt werden. Die Uhrzeit wird in persönlicher Absprache vereinbart. Um Anmeldung bei Theo Knopf wird gebeten, Tel. 0921 42271 Alle Termine auf einen Blick: 15.03., 29.03., 12.04., 03.05., 17.05. und 31.05. Theo Knopf wurde am 1. Februar 1935 geboren und ist heute in Bayreuth wohnhaft. Die Konzertina zu spielen, lernte er bereits mit acht Jahren, angeregt durch seinen Vater, der auch schon das Instrument nach Ziffernschrift beherrschte. Erst viel später, als Theo Knopf bereits 47 Jahre alt war, nahm er in Pegnitz bei Fritz Pastyrik Unterricht, um nach dessen Lehrkonzept nun auch nach regulärer Notenschrift spielen zu lernen. Knopf spielt heute teilweise nach Ziffernnotation, teilweise nach Noten oder einfach nach Gehör und auswendig. In seinem Repertoire führt er über 80 verschiedene Tänze, ältere Schlager und Spielstücke von Andreas Hader, wie etwa der Ostergalopp "Ds Madla von dr Gmaa". Theo Knopf komponiert auch eigene Stücke, wie etwa die bekannt gewordene Degelmann-Polka oder diverse Ländler und Walzer. Er bevorzugt unter seinen Instrumenten die vierchörige Haustein-Konzertina (in Es) sowie eine vierchörige Birnstock-Konzertina (in C) mit Tonabnehmer, da er ab und zu auch im Freien aufspielt. Er musiziert zur eigenen Unterhaltung oder zur Unterhaltung im Freundeskreis, im Wirtshaus, bei Tanzveranstaltungen und bei privaten Festen.  The XXXIX International Citta di Castelfidardo Prize and Award competition for accordion soloists and groups takes place in Castelfidardo, Ancona, from September 18th to 21st. The festival is organised with the support of the city’s municipal administration and the Pro Loco Tourist Association. Artistic Director is Roberto Lucanero (picture right).The competitiion rules and regulations in English and Italian can be downloaded at: 2014castelfidardo The competition has sections for all types of accordions (including digital accordions) and bandoneons, for solo, ensemble and orchestras, and in a range of age categories and musical genres, such as Classical, Entertainment, Jazz, and World music. All competition winners will perform in a concert at the Astra Theatre. There will be monetary prizes, scholarships and trophies on offer for highest placed competitors. The closing date for entries is August 24th. | Nächster Hummelkurs: 21. – 23. März 2014 Die Hummelkurse finden jedes Jahr im Frühjahr und im Herbst im Wiesbaden-Naurod statt. Je nach Teilnehmerzahl werden Lerngruppen gebildet, die jeweils aus maximal 6 TeilnehmerInnen bestehen. Die Einteilung der Gruppen erfolgt nach den Vorkenntnissen der Teilnehmer Konzertina-Playaround Für alle, die Erfahrung im gemeinsamen Musizieren sammeln wollen und Spaß am Zusammentreffen unterschiedlicher Konzertinatypen haben. Wir spielen hauptsächlich traditionelle westeuropäische Folkmusik und versuchen uns in hörenswerten, vielleicht sogar tanzbaren Arrangements. Willkommen sind alle Arten von diatonischen und chromatischen Instrumenten sowie Spieler/-innen, die bereits (mehr oder weniger) Spielpraxis haben. Je nach Vorliebe werden die Stücke nach Gehör oder Noten erlernt. Für die diatonische (deutsche) Konzertina gibt es auch den einen oder anderen spieltechnischen Tipp. Kursleiter: Torsten Dreher Hinweis: Fast alle Kurse werden regelmäßig im Frühjahr und im Herbst angeboten. Ausnahmen sind Kurse für Konzertina und mittelalterliche Musik. Aufnahmegeräte: Zum Üben vor Ort oder als Gedächtnisstütze für zu Hause könnt ihr gerne Aufnahmegeräte mitbringen. Francisco el Hombre is a legendary figure, said to have originated the musical genre of Vallenato in Colombia. His story is very unclear and has been told by word of mouth from generation to generation. [edit] The Story His full name is Francisco Antonio Moscote. Francisco El Hombre is rumored to have gone around town to town in Colombia spreading news through the art of song. Not only did he sing the news, but he did it to the rhythm of an accordion that he always played whilst singing. This is how the genre of Vallenato in Colombia came to be. The exact era of his appearances is not known but it is rumored to have started around the late 1870s and early 1880s. Another Myth There is also a myth in Colombia where he was involved in a musical contest with Satan "El Diablo" and beat him with the rhythm of accordion and his voice. This is how he received the nickname "El Hombre" (The Man), which is how most Colombians know him - Francisco El Hombre. | Akkordeon Festival Wien with Luis Di Matteo: Bandoneon Der 1934 in Montevideo geborene und lebende Luis di Matteo ist einer der letzten großen südamerikanischen Bandoneon-Virtuosen seiner Generation. Geprägt und verwurzelt im Tango - "der Tango hat mich seit meiner Kindheit begleitet, ja man kann sagen, genährt und geformt. Meine musikalische Identität habe ich von ihm" - war und ist di Matteo jener Musiker und Komponist, der die Bandoneonmusik am weitesten in Richtung E-Musik und Kammermusik geöffnet und entwickelt hat. Das Magazin Jazzthetik schrieb über eine CD-Zusammenstellung des großen Musikers, der 1971 sein erstes Album veröffentlichte: "Die fast 30-jährige Werkschau von Retrospectivo zeigt, warum di Matteo gut daran getan hat ein erstklassiger Matteo zu bleiben statt ein zweitklassiger Piazolla zu werden, dessen uruguayisches Pendant er gewissermaßen bildet."  Zum 9. Mal findet vom 11-14. April 2014 ein Kurswochenende in Agatharied statt. Es stehenKurse für Drehleier, Dudelsack, Akkordeon und Streicherensemble offen. Auch wird es wieder ein kostenloses Angebot zum Reinschnuppern in die Bal Folk Tänze geben. Der traumhaft gelegene Berghof lädt zum spielen, tanzen und feiern ein. Wie jedes Jahr heißt es also wieder: ran an die Instrumente! Diatonisches Akkordeon (G/C), (jedes Niveau, keine Anfänger) mit Jan Budweis Einfache Tanzmelodien sind oft kurz und leben durch ständige Wiederholungen. Um sie beim Aufspielen zum Tanz oder beim Erarbeiten eines Konzertprogramms abwechslungsreich und spannend zu gestalten gibt es viele Möglichkeiten, die wir in diesem Kurs erlernen wollen: Z.B. rhythmische Gestaltungsvarianten der rechten und linken Hand, das Akkordspiel auf der Diskantseite und Phrasierungs- und Verzierungstechniken. Ein weiterer Schwerpunkt ist das Erarbeiten von Variationen bis hin zu kleinen Improvisationen. A Maggio 2008 i musicisti della BandAdriatica si imbarcavano su Idea 2, un veliero che li conduceva nei porti dell’Adriatico dove la banda ha avuto l'opportunità di incontrare musicisti croati, albanesi, istriani con i quali comporre le musiche che diventano le basi di un nuovo repertorio adriatico. Nel 2009 il progetto diventa “Rotta per Otranto” un film diretto da Mattia Soranzo nel quale si racconta questa straordinaria avventura.
